Oh, that laugh!!
It really did seem that father and son were "dialoguing" at the onset...and that "son" was about to say something at the close, like..."wa..wa..wait...We're not done, are we?"
And how lovely that Great-Grandfather was such an integral part of this "dance" that you two have created.

Alex, I think you may have just captured .the. model for how to live long and well into old age. This is it! The seven-month-old-coming-at-ya therapy! Sign me up. Also pencil me onto Mateo's dance card for the celebration that will welcome him to New York!

Chuck loved this post as this was how he danced the night away with our kids after supper. I did dishes, he danced. Then they wrestled, then someone started crying...then bed. But Mateo and Bernardo's audience...the ultimate. Mateo is just good for the soul...all of ours!
