This is one of my absolute FAVORITE stages...taking those first steps while hanging on for dear life. And I'm just short enough that it does not wreak the havoc on my back that it always did on Chuck's... Now he really IS your little guy. Standing up and marching on... I just want to squish him in my lap.
I love that his face is so matter-of-fact, and that he clearly had no desire to stop walking that 8-ft track over and over and over. Also, in the smallness of the video - the design on his sweater makes it look like he is wearing an Ipod connected to baby headphones. Too much.
What a joy to see you and Mateo interacting! I think I'm going to watch that a gazillion times. You are so clearly in love, Alex, and he is SO LOVEABLE! What a treat. Also, that was hilarious.
Oh, Alex! Thank you for sharing such a tender moment! Wonderful to hear your voice; amazing to heear his. I love the juxtaposition of your motherly excitement with his nonplussed display of a monumental achievement! Go, Mateo, go! I may never stop using exclamation points! Post more videos!
